Job Description

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Trois-Rivières, QC. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Mobile Equipment Operator is responsible for carrying out various loads of material requiring the use of a loader.

What you're responsible for:

• Driving and manoeuvring the loader to load and move vehicles to appropriate areas
• Removing rows of vehicles and ensuring access and maintenance of the yard for our customers
• Crushing vehicles
• Performing inspections prior to use of all equipment
• Ensuring the maintenance and servicing of the loader and the press
• Marking cars for control and inventory purposes
• Loading crushed vehicles into delivery trucks
• Performing forklift tasks when necessary
• Helping customers transport heavy parts to their vehicles
• Performing labourer tasks when all loader tasks are completed (e.g., depollution, removing rims from tires, daily support)

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Previous training and/or experience as a loader operator (preferred)
• Ability to drive and operate heavy vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate safe behaviour in accordance with health and safety standards
