Job Description
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Trois-Rivières, QC. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the
Mobile Equipment Operator is responsible to carry out the various loads of material requiring the use of a loader.
What you're responsible for:
- Driving and manoeuvring the loader to load and move vehicles to appropriate areas
- Removing rows of vehicles and ensuring access and maintenance of the yard, for our customers
- Crushing vehicles
- Performing inspections prior to use of all equipment
- Ensuring the maintenance and servicing of the loader and the press
- Marking cars for control and inventory purposes
- Loading crushed vehicles into delivery trucks
- Performing forklift task when necessary
- Helping customers transport heavy parts to their vehicle
- Perform labourer tasks when all the loader tasks are completed (ex: depollution, removing rims from tires, daily support)
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- You have previous training and/or experience as a loader operator (preferred)
- You are able to drive and operate heavy vehicles
- You are able to demonstrate safe behaviour in accordance with health and safety standards
- You are a team player
- You are patient and flexible
