Job summary

A leading company in dock systems is seeking a Dock Technician for a seasonal position. Responsibilities include assembling dock systems, working with power tools, and maintaining the yard. Ideal candidates should be able to lift, work independently, and have a respectful attitude towards customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift small docking components up to 50lbs.
• Experience with hand tools and reading measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of various dock systems with training provided.
• Loading, delivery, and installation of docking systems.
• Yard maintenance and clean-up of shop.

Skills

Ability to lift 50lbs

Job description

Position Description:
Assembly of various dock systems, training provided
Working with power tools, such as drills and air tools
Drilling Cement
Working with pressure washer
Loading, delivery and installation of docking systems and components
Clean-up of shop, vehicles and trailers
Yard maintenance at the shop, and surrounding property.
Working Conditions
Seasonal position working in shop environment, moving equipment and docking systems, on customer’s premises, in and around water, summer heat and flying insects.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
Ability to lift small docking components up to 50lbs
Work with instruction, but also work independently
Experience with hand tools and reading measuring tape
Be able to attend our shop each day Rockport
Respectful attitude toward customers and customer’s property
Able to swim
