Job summary

E-Commerce Administrator - Bilingual (English and French)

Our customer base includes Air Canada, WestJet, Canadian Coast Guard, Purolator, Petro Canada, Home Hardware, Alaska Airlines and a broad base of government entities such as the Federal Government of Canada.

Job Summary :

The Bilingual E-Commerce Administrator is responsible for creating, improving, maintaining and migrating eCommerce stores. The incumbent will assist on multiple projects addressing B2B, B2C and other organizational objectives.

Primary Duties :

  • Maintain administrative support for existing ecommerce client stores and distribute tickets in the help desk.
  • Construct customer catalogs and products.
  • Upload and program finished photos for online representations of products.
  • Construct and maintain customer user logins, passwords, allotments, and points.
  • Verify and dissect any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain and upload employee weekly SFTP files.
  • Plan and coordinate the merging of platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications :

Completion of a vocational, technical or business school diploma in a field related to electronic commerce, website content development, or internet and mobile services. Experience in eCommerce, website design, interactive media development, data administration or information systems analysis of minimum 1 year.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving ability – root cause analysis skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English and French. Active listening and talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Analytical and critical thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

  • Dependability and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability / flexibility.
  • Stress tolerance.
  • Self-control – maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger and avoiding aggressive behavior even in difficult situations.
  • Advanced computer knowledge : MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, Publisher, Photoshop, Filezilla, Blue Cherry, SQL navigation database administration, WebX, Adobe Creative Suite.
