Position Summary... Working as a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Grocery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the grocery area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods. What you'll do...

1. Zoning the department.
2. Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
3. Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced.
4. Adhering to food safety and handling procedures, and following sanitation and cleaning protocols.
5. Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
6. Ensuring the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
7. Following health and safety guidelines.
8. Stocking merchandise, picking, downstocks if applicable, applying product protection when required, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps.
