About the Opportunity

We are hiring Clinical Therapists (CT) across various service areas, including:

  1. Community Outpatient Mental Health & Addictions - Adult: Provides assessment, treatment, intervention, and crisis management, engaging in quality initiatives and person-centered care.
  2. Child & Adolescent Services: Delivers evidence-based psycho-social assessments and treatments for children and youth within a Stepped Care framework, participating in clinical support groups.
  3. SchoolsPlus: Offers services directly within schools, collaborating with partners to support children and families in a student-focused model.
  4. Urgent Care: Conducts advanced assessments and interventions for crisis clients across the lifespan, primarily from the Emergency Department.
  5. Clinical Virtual Care Team: Provides assessment, psychotherapy, and group facilitation via virtual technologies for youth and adults, collaborating with community agencies.
About You

We seek candidates with:

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant health discipline (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, Occupational Therapy)
  • Current registration or eligibility with a provincial regulatory body
  • At least two (2) years of related clinical experience, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning
  • Additional language skills, especially French, are assets

Hours

Various permanent, temporary, and casual roles are available across Nova Scotia, with shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Work preferences can be specified during application.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Clinical Therapist: $40.18 - $54.14 hourly
  • Clinical Therapist (Developmental): $35.83 - $46.37 hourly

Successful candidates may receive signing bonuses, relocation assistance, and benefits including health, dental, travel, disability, life insurance, and a pension plan.
