Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven eCommerce Product & Marketing Specialist to join our team. This unique role combines the oversight of an eCommerce Product Manager with the creative and analytical skills of a Marketing Representative. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital commerce, a knack for marketing innovation, and the ability to drive sales growth through effective online strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management:

  1. Implement strategies to increase online sales and market share.
  2. Collaborate with the category management team to design promotional campaigns that enhance product visibility and boost conversions.
  3. Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends and competitive landscape insights.
  4. Use data analytics to forecast demand and inform strategic decision-making.
  5. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and user-friendly customer journey.
  6. Monitor customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement in the product and shopping experience.
  7. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  8. Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize revenue.
  9. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  10. Interpret historical sales data to identify whitespace opportunities for prospective brands.
  11. Collaborate with sales leaders to align and incentivize sales functions with marketing calendar.

Marketing Coordination:

  1. Implement comprehensive marketing campaigns to support product launches and promotions through all digital and traditional channels.
  2. Utilize digital marketing tools such as SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media to drive traffic and conversions.
  3. Develop engaging marketing content and collateral.
  4. Conduct thorough market research to understand competitive landscape and customer behaviour.
  5. Identify potential growth opportunities and recommend actionable strategies.
  6. Stay updated with the latest trends in eCommerce and digital marketing.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  1. Liaise with cross-functional teams including sales, master data, customer service, and category management to ensure seamless operations.
  2. Foster strong working relationships to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in managing eCommerce platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
  2. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, SEO/SEM.
  5. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
  6. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  7. Certifications in Digital Marketing, eCommerce, or related fields (Google Ads, HubSpot, etc.) considered an asset.
  8. 2-5 years of experience in eCommerce, product marketing, or digital marketing.
  9. Proven success in managing online campaigns, promotions, and strategies to drive revenue growth.
  10. Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with sales, product, and design teams.
  11. Understanding of product lifecycle management in an eCommerce context.
  12. Ability to track and report KPIs including ROI, conversion rates, and customer retention metrics.
  13. Creative mindset for developing and executing product positioning and promotional strategies.
  14. Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
