Job summary

The position involves planning, executing, monitoring, and improving reclamation across mining and in-situ assets, collaborating with environmental scientists, engineers, and regulators. Ideal candidates have a relevant degree and 2+ years of experience, with strong organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to travel to field sites.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Environmental Science, Forestry, Agronomy, Ecology, Botany or related field.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a team.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess land to be revegetated and develop prescriptions for revegetation with senior plant specialist.
• Support native seed/cuttings collection and field identification, including logistics and documentation.
• Assist with planning for native plant propagation and inventory tracking.
• Coordinate tree and shrub planting logistics to support reclamation sites.
• Lead field surveys to assess vegetation establishment and support adaptive management.
