Job Title: Echocardiology Technologist (Temporary Full Time)

Mount Sinai Hospital's Ambulatory Cardiology Department is seeking a dedicated Echocardiology Technologist for a 6-month temporary full-time role. This position involves performing echo scans, interacting with patients, and contributing to cardiac care in a state-of-the-art environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Capture and interpret echocardiographic images, providing preliminary reports.
2. Operate and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment.
3. Ensure patient comfort and clarity during procedures.
4. Collaborate with team members and support research initiatives.
5. Perform additional duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Mandatory:

• Registered with College of Medical Technologists of Ontario.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Maintained Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Preferred:

• Registration with ARDMS or Sonography Canada.
• Experience in a teaching hospital setting.

• Excellent patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible in care delivery.
