Job summary

Scarborough Health Network (SHN) seeks an experienced Echocardiographer to provide diagnostic testing and assist physicians in cardiac diagnoses. The role involves rotating between General Site, Birchmount Site, and Centenary Site, with Saturday shifts and coverage for vacation periods.

This permanent full-time position requires RDCS, ARDMS and BCLS certifications, plus one year of clinical echocardiography experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credentials required.
• ARDMS certification and current BCLS certification are mandatory.
• Minimum of one year of clinical echocardiography experience.
• Experience with TEE and Doppler techniques including Dobutamine stress.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team setting.

Job Description

Position Overview: Reporting to the Manager, the Echocardiographer will provide diagnostic testing and assist physicians in the diagnosis of patients with cardiac and associated disorders. This position will work Saturdays and provide vacation coverage for full time staff.

This position involves rotating between General Site, Birchmount Site, and Centenary Site.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• ARDMS certification
• Current certification in BCLS
• Minimum of one year clinical experience
• Clinical experience with TEE
• Experienced in Doppler techniques including Dobutamine Stress
• Ability to work independently in fast paced, team setting
