Job summary

Cardinal Health Gananoque is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as machine operators in support of the production department. The role involves setting up and operating packaging machines while maintaining quality and safety standards, with rotating 12-hour shifts.

We emphasize GMP and 5S practices, along with a focus on timely changeovers, material replenishment, and adherence to documentation.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Troubleshooting and resolution capabilities.
Ability to perform normal mechanical adjustments and routine maintenance.
Ability to follow good documentation practices.
Knowledgeable in GMP and 5S methodology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Knowledge of the ECG Electrode Department and equipment would be a definite asset.

Responsibilities

Accountability for Product Quality and Safety Compliance.
Set up and operation of packaging machines while maintaining a high standard of quality and cleanliness in the department.
Material replenishment and adjustments.
Perform line clearance procedures and set-up to support efficient and timely changeovers.
Participate in Non-Conformance investigation and resolution where applicable.
