Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Gananoque, Ontario is seeking an ECG Operator II for our ECG department. This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts on a rotating two-week schedule (days 7am-7pm, nights 7pm-7am).

You will be accountable for product quality, safety compliance, equipment setup, and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication, documentation, and mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust for machine issues.
• Good documentation practices.
• Mechanical aptitude testing may be used.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for product quality and safety compliance.
• Set up and operate electrode machines while maintaining a high standard of quality and cleanliness in the department.
• Material replenishment and adjustments.
• Trouble shooting and resolution capabilities.
• Ability to perform normal mechanical adjustments and routine maintenance.
• Participate in Equipment/Process improvement idea generations and assist implementation.
• Ability to follow good documentation practices.
• Understanding of GMP and 5S methodology.
• Assist with line clearance procedures and set-up to support efficient and timely change-overs
• Participate in Non-Conformance investigation and resolution where applicable
• Knowledge of machine operation or ECG Electrode Department would be a definite asset.

Our manufacturing plant in Gananoque is currently seeking ECG Operators II for our ECG department.

Schedule:

• 12 hour shifts
• Rotating weekly - 2 weeks Day Shift 7am-7pm, and 2 weeks Night Shift 7pm-7am. (WK 1 Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat - WK 2 Sun, Wed, Thurs)

Your Contributions to the Organization:

Duties and requirements of the job include, but are not limited to:

Pay range: $ 24.00 per hour (Plus 0.84$ shift differential)
