With over 37 years of seismic technology and industry application experience, we are a global, award-winning company providing monitoring solutions and equipment for studying artificial and natural seismicity. From mission-critical seismic arrays, tsunami and early earthquake warning systems in over 90 countries to induced seismicity monitoring in the energy sector, Nanometrics specializes in full-service, integrated solutions, including turnkey seismic networks, industry-leading instrumentation, data processing, analysis services, and software applications.

You possess excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.

The Team

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for communicating the benefits of our Seismology and SMS business units’ products and services through compelling storytelling. This role advocates for Nanometrics’ product portfolio and aligns product strategy with sales and marketing tactics to drive success.

The Role

  1. Create and execute innovative marketing strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and product adoption.
  2. Gain expertise on our target markets, buyer personas, and decision-making processes to inform marketing and sales strategies.
  3. Leverage insights to better understand customer needs and represent the voice of the customer.
  4. Analyze the competitive landscape to identify our differentiators and market position.
  5. Develop marketing content such as blogs, whitepapers, videos, webinars, brochures, and sales training materials to support campaigns and sales efforts.
  6. Plan and implement marketing strategies and budgets across various channels to retain existing customers and attract new ones.
  7. Collaborate with R&D, product management, sales, and marketing teams for go-to-market planning and product positioning.
  8. Analyze sales data to develop plans for sales improvement using marketing techniques.
  9. Assess and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs, making adjustments as needed.
  10. Coordinate product launches and releases, managing cross-functional implementation.
  11. Serve as a thought leader through speaking engagements and written works.
  12. Support regional sales representatives with training and development of collateral and tools.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
  • At least 5 years of product marketing experience in a related industry, with technical competency.
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, marketing automation, and video demo tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, Loom.
  • Proficiency with networking platforms like LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram.
