Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Mahogany, AB is hiring an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) at Level 1, 2 or 3 to work alongside teachers and families, creating a home-away-from-home environment for children in our care.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing BrightPath curriculum, maintaining a safe and organized classroom, assessing children's needs, communicating with parents, attending staff meetings and professional development, and supporting a team-focused childcare community.

Qualifications

• ECE certification levels 1-3 or B.Ed./Equivalent required.
• Must meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs; discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
• Maintain classroom materials and supplies in good order.
