Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Okotoks, AB seeks an Early Childhood Educator-Level 1 to work with teachers and families, providing a home-like environment for children.

Responsibilities include program development, child assessment, and collaboration with families. Must hold ECE Level 1/2/3 or B.Ed./Equivalent, and meet provincial childcare requirements. First Aid/CPR and health clearances required.

Qualifications

• ECE certification as required by province; meet childcare employment requirements.
• First Aid and infant CPR current.
• Immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath curriculum for child development.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment prioritizing child well-being.
• Assess children, discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as needed.
• Support classroom organization and materials.
