You will work with a project team to deliver L1 and BA support, ensuring excellent user experience through problem resolution within Scotiabank’s production environment. The role focuses on CMS (Content Management System) and CRM systems supporting the Asset Management line of business. It offers the opportunity to work within an agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. As part of the delivery team, you will assist in designing and supporting development phases to meet client needs and support IT&S partners, participating in both front-end and back-end design.

The primary function is to analyze and provide daily functional support for Dynamic Web Products (including Dynamic Public and Advisor Web Sites), Investor Portal, and Salesforce. The Application Support Analyst will implement standards and best practices for developing application services.

L1 support Engineers should have basic knowledge of products/services and troubleshooting skills for issues like password resets and software installations/uninstallations/reinstallations.

1. Participate in meetings regarding user requirements and design during project development.
2. Act as the Subject Matter Expert.
3. Partner proactively with business line representatives to improve technology solutions supporting business strategy.
4. Contribute as a technical or business consultant in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging solutions.
5. Support and enhance existing applications, and develop training materials or train users.

Do you have the skills to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:

1. Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) and Wealth Management.
2. Hands-on experience with web-based technologies.
3. Basic programming knowledge, including SQL.
4. 3-5 years of related experience in the mutual fund industry and Salesforce administration.
5. Salesforce Admin Certification.
6. Understanding of Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and data management.
7. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate insights using Salesforce reports and dashboards.
8. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management principles within Salesforce.
9. Ability to resolve technical and business issues within Salesforce.
