This role is primarily remote, with one in-office day per week at the Toronto location (Yonge & Eglinton).

About the Role: We are seeking a B2B Media Senior Account Executive with expertise in driving revenue across a portfolio of integrated B2B media programs, including digital media, events, research, and custom content. The ideal candidate will have experience selling marketing programs to retail industry clients. You will meet or exceed annual sales goals using a consultative or needs-based approach to connect with key clients and stakeholders, providing solutions for business growth and marketing challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Utilize consultative or needs-based selling to connect with clients and stakeholders, offering solutions to business and marketing challenges.
  2. Conduct productive client meetings, prioritizing in-person engagement, with follow-up via video as appropriate.
  3. Develop strategic, integrated media programs across our brand portfolio: digital media, event sponsorships/exhibit space, custom media, research.
  4. Create proposals and sales presentations, present to clients, and close deals.
  5. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client success, present program results, and identify upsell opportunities.
  6. Forecast revenue accurately, develop a robust pipeline, and maintain up-to-date CRM data.
  7. Attend industry events to develop new business and manage existing relationships, with a strategic outreach plan for each event.
  8. Deliver quarterly development presentations to the publisher, including meeting documentation, sales, and strategic plans.
  9. Achieve or surpass sales targets, manage business in the territory, and develop strategies to reduce churn.
  10. Stay informed on outreach, sales practices, and KPIs, defining and achieving them under publisher guidance.
  11. Forecast churn, identify new business opportunities, and grow existing client accounts.
  12. Gain a deep understanding of assigned brands, products, audiences, and competitors.
  13. Participate actively in internal calls across teams.
  14. Prepare and deliver client presentations confidently.
  15. Keep up-to-date on client, company, and industry intelligence.

Qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of success in selling B2B integrated media solutions, with emphasis on digital media and events.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex client relationships.
  • Strong strategic, consultative selling skills across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to connect authentically with diverse businesses and individuals.
  • Effective objection handling during sales processes.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through, communication, and proficiency in digital analytics and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% and attend events as needed.
