Job description

Your Day to Day
  • Assist in the transition of customer information into the new database.
  • Ensure appropriate turnaround time on all data entry tasks.
  • Enter information into the appropriate databases.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output.
  • Adhere to established corporate and accounting department policies and procedures.
  • Monthly printing of statements.
  • Handle the monthly mailing of statements and daily maintenance of mail room functions.
  • Maintain and triage the Customer Care email address.
  • Process and triage all returned mail and cheques.
  • Make calls for declined credit card payments.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Customer Care Manager.
What You Bring To The Team
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Kroll Windows application, and applicable eMAR platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Smart-Link software is an asset. Prior experience with third-party billing is preferred.
  • Proven ability to foster strong partnerships within the healthcare team.
  • Effective organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • An understanding of provincial regulations governing LTC homes and Retirement Communities.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Motivated to achieve results that meet high-quality standards.
