Play a key role in supporting ENMAX’s GIS system in the management of records, data and workflows associated to construction projects and electrical assets.
Major Responsibilities:
Modify, maintain and troubleshoot a variety of databases specifically related to ENMAX electrical system assets.
Interpret and integrate relevant data from multiple sources, ex. maps, engineering drawings.
Prepare GIS cartographic products.
Create and maintain operational reporting functions of business unit data.
Collaborate with other business units on the timely deliverable of utility construction information to EPC Operations.
Collaborate with operational business units, IT and external companies on the development/enhancement of information management tools and workflows with a focus on automation.
Utilize multiple software tools for information searches / analysis about ENMAX electric system assets including Geospatial Information System (GIS) and Asset Management system. (Maximo), Enterprise Records Management system (Infolink).
Consult with team members, business partners and management on various initiatives and requirements gathering.
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in GIS, Geography or closely related field.
2 years’ experience with ESRI software (ArcGIS suite and its extensions) is considered an asset.
Ability to perform GIS data conversion/edition, map production, spatial data management and spatial analysis.
Experience in the electric utility industry is an asset.
Experience with Schneider Electric’s ArcFM software is considered an asset.
Experience working with CAD Data is considered an asset.

Salary: Drafter level B (CUPE 2024 hourly rates)
$72,964.16 - $77,526.90 - $82,089.64 - $86,652.38 - $91,215.12
Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
