Caldwell has been exclusively retained by a leading global financial institution to recruit a Chief Compliance Officer for their Canadian operations based in Toronto.

Reporting functionally to the CEO and directly to the Board and/or Audit Committee, the Chief Compliance Officer will oversee the bank’s compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining robust internal controls and reporting.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in downtown Toronto.

Qualifications and Experience

• A seasoned compliance professional with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks.
• Extensive compliance experience within major banking institutions, specifically in commercial and/or retail banking sectors.

This position serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and will play a pivotal leadership role in the bank’s transformation by ensuring compliance integrity through processes, people, and technology.
