Job description

A high-performing engineering team is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to support the delivery of complex bridge and civil structure projects, particularly in the rail and transit infrastructure sector.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a leader in design, infrastructure, and engineering, focusing on aerospace, road, and transit sectors. They have an excellent leadership team, a strong collaborative design group, and opportunities for growth and development both locally and internationally. They are currently expanding with many upcoming projects.

ABOUT THE JOB

1. Lead the design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other civil/railway structures from concept through detailed phases.
2. Perform structural analysis, modeling, and rehabilitation planning.
3. Share knowledge, mentor team members, and contribute to technical development within a growing team.
4. Participate in major infrastructure projects such as Finch West LRT, ECWE, and the Alexandra Bridge replacement.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. 8+ years of experience in bridge and infrastructure design.
2. Licensed Professional Engineer (PEO) in Ontario.
3. Proven experience in rail and transit-related structural design (Metrolinx experience is a strong asset).
4. Strong technical modeling and analytical skills.
5. Team-oriented with proactive communication and a learning mindset.
