Job description

Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Experience: 2 to less than 3 years.

Work setting:

  • University or college

Tasks:

  • Implement and review new administrative procedures
  • Establish work priorities, ensure procedures are followed, and meet deadlines
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment
  • Administer policies related to records release under government access and privacy laws
  • Coordinate office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, asset disposal, parking, maintenance, and security
  • Assist in preparing operating budgets and maintain inventory and budget controls
  • Prepare reports, manuals, and correspondence by assembling data
  • Train staff and oversee administrative procedures
  • Resolve conflicts and oversee payroll administration
  • Plan and control budgets and expenditures

Computer and technology knowledge:

  • Electronic mail
  • SAP (FI / CO / HR / MM / OT SD)
