Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and representing the company’s extensive product range in the field. Your expertise will help clients achieve their operational goals while expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify, engage, and secure new customers in your assigned accounts.
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and growth objectives.
Reimbursed overnight travel will possibly be required
Customer Engagement & Technical Consultation :
Conduct regular on-site visits to customer locations to provide personalized service and identify opportunities for product solutions.
Demonstrate superior product knowledge and recommend tools, abrasives, and industrial supplies tailored to customer needs.
Provide training and support to help clients optimize their operations using Technicut’s solutions.
Market & Product Expertise :
Develop a comprehensive understanding of Technicut’s product offerings and industry applications.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
Communicate customer feedback and insights to the internal team to support continuous improvement.
Work closely with inside sales and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market developments using software.
Provide regular feedback to management on sales performance and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications :
1-2 years of B2B sales experience is required.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
Enthusiasm and strong desire to learn and improve technical knowledge and skills.
A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
A valid class 5 driver’s license, vehicle and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
Knowledge and experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector, strong understanding of cutting tools, abrasives, and industrial supplies are an asset.
High School diploma or equivalent. Higher level education or working experience in metalwork tooling an asset but not required.
What We Offer :
50,000 to 75,000 base salary depending on experience with un-capped upside of performance-based commissions.
