The City of White Rock is seeking a Labourer to join their Public Works team. Reporting to the Manager of Public Works, you will perform a variety of labour tasks involving considerable physical effort in all weather conditions. Duties include construction and maintenance of roads, pavement, asphalt installation; water, sanitary, and storm sewer maintenance; pipe installation and repair; sign installation; cement work and concrete installation, including brick paver installation; operation of small equipment and hand tools; routine equipment maintenance; maintenance inspections; and truck driving. This position supports the solid waste division and may act as a relief driver for garbage, green waste, and recycling collection. Knowledge of MMCD standards is an asset.
