Qualifications

  • Expérience dans un environnement de production industrielle requise.
  • Certification valide pour le chariot élévateur nécessaire.

Employment Type: Full Time Permanent – Union

Hours: 12 hour rotating shift with 37 1/3 hours weekly +overtime as needed

The Role:

  • Filling FIBC bags and loading them into shipping containers.
  • Working with the Production Manager and the Logistics department regarding safety, security, environmental, logistics, personnel and process issues that arise at work.
  • Interprets and reports on product quality to determine actions necessary to meet specifications.
  • Involved in other plant duties such as acid washing, sump cleaning and general labour to maintain plant operations.
  • Trains new peers and summer students on all aspects of the FIBC warehouse and other duties as required.
  • Prepares equipment for safe lock-out (including all other safety related standards) for maintenance and contractor personnel.
  • Assists operations with moving, cleaning and inspecting railcars.

The Person:

  • Experience working in industrial and/or process plant environment
  • Education: Post-secondary two-year program in technical field – i.e., 4th Class Power Engineering Program
  • Previous forklift experience with valid certification
