Position: Skilled Labourer - O2 Sussex Project

Schedule: Monday to Friday - Possibility of overtime; may also include afternoon, evening & weekend work
Rate: $27.98 to $34.46 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Labourer to join the team at the Sussex Residential Tower Project in the Lower Mainland!

This $135 million dollar project is in the heart of Metrotown in Burnaby, BC and includes 285 units. The building also features a 4-storey wood framed building providing 53 rental units, located above a 4-level underground parking garage.

The position offers a great opportunity for long-term employment and works a Monday to Friday schedule with the possibility of overtime, afternoon, evenings/weekend work.

Responsibilities:

1. Painting
2. Assisting with concrete formwork, stripping formwork, chipping of concrete
3. Dewatering
4. Site organization
5. Using various power tools (knowledge & experience with)
6. General site cleanup and housekeeping
7. Assist with other duties as required

Requirements:

1. Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction industry
2. Experience with wood backing required
3. Experience with water control
4. CSTS/ WHMIS Certificates
5. Fall Protection Certification is an asset
6. Operating Certificates an asset (Telehandler, Skid Steer)
7. Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry
8. Capable of learning through on the job training
9. Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada
