What You’ll Be Doing
The Business Analyst will provide support to Directors and Senior Managers within Finance and Treasury to support the activities in aid of effectively assessing risks, identifying controls mitigating risks, documenting procedures and co-ordination activities. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, strong written and oral communication and ability to work well with multiple stakeholders.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How You'll Succeed
Internal Controls Design and Documentation – Support the Finance business in activities related to the identifying and documenting effective internal controls to address identified risks. Prepare control process documents and create controls in system and ensure they are communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders. Track and follow up with stakeholders for necessary approvals, wherever required.
Coordination – Coordinate with the business and governance team and to effectively perform control identification and documentation. Set up meetings with business, discuss on important points and align on deliverables with business and governance team for sign off.
Documentation - Manage SharePoint database of related documents such as control identification, design, walkthroughs, documentation on eGRC, etc. and ensure compliance to Records Management Policy.
Stakeholder Management - Work with the business and governance teams to align and finalize deliverables effectively.
