Color & Curl Concierge

The Color & Curl Concierge / Colour & Curl Specialist is our ambassador to the industry, showcasing our expertise in color, talent development, technical skills, social media, and sales. In addition to daily sales responsibilities, the CCC/CCS maximizes sales by:

1. Creating increased customer retention and loyalty
2. Building lasting relationships and promoting brand awareness and hair color market share
3. Using market analysis to sell approved beauty products, introduce new products and concepts, provide customer service, and conduct product education both in-store and virtually
4. Providing color & curl/texture consulting services to professional beauty salons, barbers, spas, schools, and licensed cosmetologists

This role focuses on driving the color & curl business and requires extensive education through online guided learning and certification courses.

Primary Duties

You are the expert in Color & Curl/Texture, and your main duties include:

1. Assessing customer color and care needs and providing professional advice and recommendations
2. Communicating with team members regarding calls, visits, orders, sales progress, follow-up plans, and assistance needed
3. Resolving customer concerns promptly and effectively
4. Maintaining high standards in merchandising, signage, and store displays to create an inviting atmosphere
5. Staying informed on emerging trends, market changes, and sharing knowledge with partners
6. Performing store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and deposits
7. Upholding company culture, ethics, and behavior standards

Experience and Skills Required

• At least one year of retail or sales experience
• Licensed cosmetologist preferred in US and Canada
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to shows and meetings at least 3 times a year
• Strong business acumen and sales reporting skills
• Knowledge of retail systems, visual merchandising, POS applications, and social media platforms
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
• Willingness to work in different stores and in the field
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Must pass Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire
