Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Contract Renewal Associate (Remote - Home Office in any city in Canada) to join a high-energy, customer service-focused, and positive Contract Lifecycle Sales team. The Contract Renewal Associate facilitates renewals directly with our customers; provides support to sales executives and their client base; and contributes to achieving financial and strategic organizational goals. The role also involves ensuring our vendor status with customers is active and accurate to accelerate Hexagon revenues. If you are an experienced Contract Renewal Associate who consistently goes above and beyond, we want you on our team!

  • This role combines customer service with direct customer engagement to renew existing contracts.
  • Responsible for renewing, up-selling, and closing maintenance, service, and license contracts, with a focus on increasing renewal sales.
  • Preparation of quotations and proposals.
  • Educates customers on business practices and contractual implications.
  • Ensures customer awareness and understanding of product elements.
  • Contributes to small projects, improvements, and efficiencies.
  • Performs basic information gathering and analysis as directed.
  • Updates ERP system and Salesforce.
  • Assists with maintenance of vendor systems as required.
  • Coordinates across teams to ensure timely actions, following best practices.
  • Provides outstanding internal and external customer service.
Education / Qualifications
  • Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home-office space.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or similar, with 2+ years' experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, or 4+ years of related experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and math skills.
  • Proactive knowledge sharing and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.
  • Judgment exercised within established practices and procedures.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently.
  • Experience in large organizations and familiarity with supplier certification processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Understanding of CRM principles.
  • Experience in the computer/software industry.
  • Knowledge of contracts and contract systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains).
