Position Overview:
Provides wealth planning, advanced financial planning, guidance, and counsel focused on High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth (HNW/UHNW) client segments. Collaborates with Investment Advisors to develop and deliver a client-focused wealth planning experience, culminating in a documented wealth strategy. Engages in the entire wealth planning process, from discovery to financial analysis, developing high-value financial plans and recommendations, and assisting with client presentations. Aims to increase asset levels from HNW/UHNW investors by promoting key products and services. Supports growth and retention of client assets by providing wealth planning advice to Investment Advisors, broadening client dialogue, consolidating assets, and increasing revenues. Implements disciplined sales and wealth management strategies to support regional and national growth, emphasizing the client experience.
- Lead and facilitate goal-based discovery processes with clients, ensuring data collection and plan creation standards are met to maintain effective knowledge management.
- Develop detailed and complex financial plans to meet clients' financial objectives and conduct presentations as needed.
- Implement strategies to expand service scope, helping clients achieve personal goals and contribute to business growth.
- Build internal and external networks and referral sources to grow the business within the assigned region.
- Ensure the region's client experience standards for financial planning and relationship development are met.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the assigned business/group.
- Assist in strategic planning and identify emerging issues and trends for informed decision-making.
- Support strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders and analyze data to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Investment Advisors on HNW management solutions and work with Branch Managers to increase Wealth Management visibility.
- Leverage expert resources in taxation, estate & trust, and succession planning to provide insights.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders and analyze strategic problems to provide insights and recommendations.
- Typically lead planning for clients with $1 - $3 million in assets, with capacity for larger portfolios up to $5 million.
- Provide coaching and training to Investment Advisors, develop sales campaigns, and deliver customized wealth planning advice.
- Enhance sales processes and client experience by identifying gaps and best practices.
- Demonstrate a consultative selling approach to achieve business objectives.
- Offer expertise on advanced financial planning, including tax, estate, and philanthropy strategies.
- Adhere to all regulatory, legal, and risk guidelines to protect assets.
- Support broader enterprise-wide initiatives as needed, providing technical support and problem-solving.
- Work independently on non-routine situations and handle complex analysis.
Qualifications:
- Experience selling to Investment Advisors or HNW clients.
- Financial planning experience required.
- CFP designation (IQPF in Quebec).
- Completion of CPA designation preferred.
- Life Insurance designation considered an asset.
- Trust & Estate Practitioner qualification advantageous.
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency through extensive education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary:
$60,300.00 - $111,800.00
