Job summary

Export Development Canada is seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver for full-time routes delivering to restaurants and food service clients. The role involves a mix of driving and physical labor, loading and unloading with a ramp, dolly, and pallet jack, and maintaining a clean trailer environment.

Expect early starts at 5:00 a.m., long days, and opportunities to work independently on established routes. PPE is provided, with boots required, and a strong emphasis on safety and proper lifting

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence and clean driving record.
• Clear criminal record in Canada.
• Minimum of two years Class 1 driving experience in Canada.
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots mandatory; PPE provided by client.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to restaurants and food service establishments on scheduled routes.
• Load and unload using ramp, dolly, and pallet jack.
• Keep trailer clean and organized; collect and bundle cardboard and plastic.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated environments.
• Start shifts at 5:00 a.m. and extend deliveries as needed.
