Job summary

South East Cornerstone School Division #209 (Weyburn) is seeking an Early Learning Instructional Coach for the South Area. This 1.0 FTE temporary full-time role will base out of the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre and report to the Coordinator of Early Learning.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Education and have at least five years of teaching experience in early education, with a strong background in current trends and research-based practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Education required with at least five years of teaching experience in an early education environment.
  • Strong knowledge of current early learning educational trends.
  • Preference for knowledge of early childhood development and research-based practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide theoretical and practical guidance to the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre to ensure high-quality early years programming.
  • Foster early learning connections within communities in the southeast and with the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre.
  • Provide home visiting support to children aged 0–5 with diverse learning needs and their families.
  • Guide and support SECPSD Prekindergarten and Kindergarten programs.
  • Support children aged 0–5 with diverse needs as they transition into formal education with families and teaching teams.
