Job summary

The Program Coordinator at Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre leads a small team of program coordinators and works with educators to advance reflective practice and explorations in curriculum, grounded in care-inspired approaches.

The role requires staying current with early childhood education developments, coordinating with visiting pedagogists, and embedding the Society's values in curriculum while fostering healthy working relationships.

Qualifications

• Requires ECE diploma or degree and licences to practice.
• Continued training/professional development in child growth, inclusive practice, and curriculum pedagogy.
• Current First Aid certificate.
• Must be available for regular evening meetings and some weekend events.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and collaborate with educators to shape curriculum explorations.
• Support reflective practice and capacity building among educators.
• Work with a small team and visiting pedagogists to implement the Society's strategic priorities.
• Embed the Society's values in curriculum and foster positive working relationships.
