Job summary

Kids & Company is seeking on-call supply staff at our Millrise location to support classrooms across the day, ensuring safe and nurturing environments for children. You will document activities, assist with an emergent curriculum, and collaborate with professionals to support each child’s growth.

Required ECE certification (Level 2 or 3), current CPR/First Aid, and regular communication with families. This role involves lifting up to 45 pounds and on-site work in Calgary.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication with children, parents and co-workers.
• Ability to use computer systems for documentation and classroom operations.
• Strong collaborator and team player.
• Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops

Specifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co-workers.
• Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations

Qualifications

• ECE certified (Level 2 or 3)
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Level B
• Ability to push, pull and lift up-to 45 pounds
