Job summary

BrightPath Kids Inc. Maple Ridge Centre is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (Infant/Toddler) to care for children 6 weeks to 3 years old.

The role offers a pay range of $21.00–$23.00 per hour with government wage enhancement on top, and no evenings or weekends. You will collaborate with teachers and families to implement BrightPath's curriculum, maintain a safe environment, and monitor child development.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Educator Infant Toddler Certificate is required.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?
