Job summary

A community-focused organization in Calgary is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator to work with children aged 12 months to 6 years. You will be responsible for delivering developmentally appropriate programs and maintaining a safe environment. The ideal candidate holds an Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification and demonstrates excellent communication skills. This position offers a salary of $31,200 to $46,106 per year and benefits including health and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate from approved AB OHS provider.
• Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search.
• Three professional references.

Responsibilities

• Utilize established communication strategies for operational effectiveness.
• Manage centre operations with a cooperative team approach.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate programs reflecting the centre's Program Plan.
• Support curriculum delivery and child development practices.
• Demonstrate safe practices and manage emergency situations.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment as per established procedures.
• Engage in centre and association events.
