Job summary

Equation Staffing Solutions is seeking an Early Childhood Educator for a North Calgary childcare client to help create a warm, nurturing learning environment and positively influence children's early development.

The role involves leading activities, observing progress, complying with regulations, and collaborating with parents and staff to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children.
• Alberta Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Certificate.
• A vulnerable sector check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a daily balance of active/quiet, indoor/outdoor, and individual/group activities.
• Ensure childcare regulations are adhered to.
• Lead children's activities and observe child development and progress.
• Foster positive relationships and communication with parents and caregivers.
• Support structured programs while creating safe and engaging environments for the children.
• Work closely with other educators and childcare staff to create a productive learning environment.
• Light cleaning and other administrative tasks as required.
