Job summary

Mak-a-Mini Childcare in Edmonton is seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Educator to join our team at our brand new daycare center. You will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care, and work with other educators to plan developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum.

The role requires Early Childhood Educator Level 3 Certification preferred, at least 3 years of experience, CPR/First Aid, and a Vulnerable Sector police

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a safe, inclusive and developmentally appropriate environment based on observations.
• Carry out personal care routines (meals, diapering, hand washing, nap times).
• Ensure classroom lessons run smoothly with effective management and redirection.
• Maintain ongoing developmental records and document progress.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about updates and policies.
• Report concerns or incidents to the Childcare Supervisor.
