Responsibilities Tasks:

• Assess the children’s development to prepare tailored learning plans.
• Develop and implement child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Maintain daycare equipment.
• Storytelling and engaging children in activities like reading stories, teaching songs, and organizing outings.
• Assist early childhood educators in program implementation.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Keep records and observe children for signs of learning or behavioral issues, preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
• Encourage creativity through arts, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
• Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
• Prepare snacks and organize rooms for lunch and rest periods.
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and issues.
• Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
• Plan and maintain a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for children.
