Job summary

The Jewish Community Centre (JCC) Toronto is hiring an Early Childhood Assistant to support children in daily routines and learning activities. You will work under the supervision of RECEs to promote cognitive, physical, social and emotional development in line with CCEYA, ELECT and How Does Learning Happen.

Qualifications

• Requires a RECE certification and strong English communication.
• Demonstrates ability to work with diverse families and children.
• Knowledge of CCEYA, ELECT and How Does Learning Happen is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist children in daily routines under RECE supervision to support development.
• Help provide learning experiences and therapeutic activities as needed.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and respond to individual needs.
