  • Storytelling and reading stories to children
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers
  • Assist early childhood educators in program implementation
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and outings
  • Maintain records in collaboration with educators or supervisors
  • Encourage creativity through arts, dramatic play, music, and physical activities
  • Promote proper habits related to eating, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare snacks and organize spaces for lunch and rest
  • Observe children for developmental or behavioral issues and report findings
  • Document observations and discuss progress in staff meetings
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and safety guidelines
  • Establish behavior guidelines and a safe environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community partners
  • Organize activities for school-age children before and after school
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood staff
