Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Geoscientist for our Waterloo, ON office. This early‑career role blends field work, data analysis, and technical reporting with a team of hydrogeologists, geochemists, and engineers.

Travel to sites and strong communication skills are required as you support remediation projects and regulatory work. You will contribute to data management, study development, permitting, and proposal delivery while expanding your technical expertise within a global

Qualifications

Environmental B.Sc. or Geoscience B.Sc. required; MSc preferred.
0–2 years of environmental field experience.
Willingness to travel for meetings, site visits and field work.
Excellent English writing and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with hydrogeologists, geochemists, environmental scientists, and engineers on groundwater, remediation, and monitoring projects.
Compile, manage, and quality-check environmental data.
Prepare project documents: figures, tables, hydrographs, maps, cross-sections, work plans, estimates and reports.
Assist field work including site investigations and sampling.
Coordinate project-related work with internal teams and external contractors.
