Job summary

GHD is hiring a Graduate Environmental Engineer/Scientist (Hydrogeology) for our Waterloo Office. The role combines in-office collaboration three days a week with field work and remote tasks as project needs dictate.

You will work with a team of geoscientists and engineers on hydrogeology, land development, and contaminated site assessment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in earth/environmental sciences or engineering; a Master’s in hydrogeology is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in earth/environmental sciences or engineering.
• Master's degree in earth/environmental sciences or hydrogeology is an asset.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience; co-ops/internships welcome.

Responsibilities

• Data compilation, interpretation, and analysis of hydrogeological data for reports.
• Assist in draft technical memos, reports, and deliverables.
• Field tasks: soil and groundwater sampling; well installation oversight.
