Job description

Lysander Funds is an independent Investment Fund Manager headquartered in Toronto with regional offices in Montréal and Vancouver. We offer investment products to investment and mutual fund advisors and their clients with the aim of helping investors reach their long-term financial goals. We are looking for a dynamic and capable person with strong product and relationship-building skills to join our National Accounts Team. Reporting to the Vice President, National Accounts, this role offers an opportunity to leverage Lysander’s strong product lineup to help expand upon and further deepen relationships with some of Canada’s largest financial institutions.

This is a full-time position located in the Toronto office of Lysander Funds.

Role

The position will be responsible for helping the National Accounts Team service existing head office relationships and identify new opportunities. In addition, this role will also play a role in helping collaborate with Lysander's Partner Portfolio Managers.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage and support Lysander’s Head Office Distribution Partners
  2. Support Lysander’s Partner Portfolio Managers
  3. Develop and support Dealer Specific sales and product strategy
  4. Identify and sequester Dealer Platform opportunities
  5. Help identify synergies for Lysander Funds with its Dealer Partners
  6. Manage Reporting requirements of Dealer Platforms and Recommended Lists
  7. Manage informational database of Dealer Head Office Partners
Qualifications:
  1. 5-10 years’ industry experience
  2. Undergraduate degree. MBA, CIM, CFA or CFP not required but beneficial
  3. Familiarity with broad financial industry trends and the ability to formulate a proprietary view
  4. Strong financial and analytical skills
  5. Comfort level with developing long-term business relationships
  6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  7. A person that will thrive in an open collaborative environment
