Senior Architectural Technologist

Our Seaway Corridor Region is deeply connected to eastern Ontario, with vibrant communities along the St. Lawrence River, blending small-town charm with growing urban centers. Responsibilities

1. Producing and overseeing technical design and contract documents in compliance with owner requirements, in collaboration with project teams.
2. Validating that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements, regulations, quality assurance, and control.
3. Providing technical design solutions for new and renovation projects, including interior and exterior assemblies.
4. Leading the assembly of specifications for projects using the NMS format.
5. Coordinating and leading internal production teams.
6. Coordinating with project sub-consultants.
7. Providing technical mentoring and project leadership to office staff.
8. Assisting with contract administration, including site visits and working with construction contractors.

Qualifications

1. Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
2. 15+ years of experience as an Architectural Technologist in an architectural consulting firm.
3. Substantial product knowledge and ability to detail architectural building systems.
4. Construction site experience.
5. Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365, Bluebeam is preferred.
6. Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
