Job Title: Account Manager

Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for selling and presenting Varonis’ products and services to current and prospective enterprise accounts.
The Varonis Account Manager will work closely with a local Sales Engineer. The goal is to build a compelling business case for the end-user while meeting or exceeding the annual sales quota.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify key decision makers within targeted leads.
- Present and sell Varonis’ products and services to current and potential clients.
- Follow up on leads and referrals from field activities, maintaining and expanding the contact database within targeted organizations.
- Engage in prospecting, cold calling, booking appointments, conducting demos, and creating proposals.
- Deliver effective product demonstrations to C-Level prospects and resellers.
- Collaborate with Sales and Channel Managers to develop strategic sales approaches.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by responding to requests and resolving issues.
- Support reseller communication throughout the sales process.
- Keep accurate account information and activity details in the CRM system.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows as needed.
- Travel percentage varies by territory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college/university OR 5+ years of B2B sales experience/training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the technology industry preferred.
- Skills in Microsoft Dynamics and Outlook preferred.
- Prior experience selling security software through channel partners.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Existing contacts in the territory, with a willingness to learn technical aspects of Varonis products.
