We’re hiring on behalf of a fast-growing tech company building a cloud-native data platform that supports large-scale analytics, real-time processing, and machine learning. This is a high-impact role for a Senior Data Engineer to scale the data platform infrastructure from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

1. Design and build robust data platforms on GCP, AWS, or Azure
2. Develop scalable batch and streaming pipelines (Spark, Kafka, dbt, Airflow)
3. Architect data lake and warehouse solutions (BigQuery, Snowflake, Delta Lake)
4. Implement ETL / ELT workflows with strong data governance and reliability
5. Define and evolve semantic layers and data models to support analytics and AI
6. Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and data scientists to enable data access and insights
7. Establish platform-level best practices for observability, testing, and CI / CD

What We’re Looking For

1. 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform roles
2. Strong experience designing and scaling cloud-native data platforms; ideally in a startup with a modern data stack
3. Deep proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
4. Hands-on experience with tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Kafka, Spark
5. Solid SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
6. Cloud infrastructure expertise (GCP preferred, also AWS or Azure)
7. Experience building data platforms that support cross-team use cases (BI, ML, product analytics)
