The Senior Analyst position is to support general functions of the practice such as property valuation and property tax. The Analyst is involved in the preparation of more straight forward valuation reports which includes active engagement with peers in the industry, conducting independent research with strong analytical skills in support of the Property Valuation practice. The Analyst contributes to the software databases to ensure excellent quality of inputs to facilitate report integrity. Understanding of property tax and the appeal process is an asset. The Analyst is responsible for creating positive team member experiences, which lead to excellent client service and drive revenue and profit for the Firm.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong writing and people skills. The successful candidate will be effective in researching, understanding more complex real estate issues, reconciling databases, and completing detailed calculations. The Analyst must be deadline oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet navigation and research. Experience with appraisal related programs such as Argus are an asset.
