Company Overview

Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst (147295) in the Oil and Gas Industry, located in Calgary, Alberta. This position offers a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage utility accounts payments processing, including downloading, coding, and processing utility statements.
2. Validate and process invoices, including PO and non-PO invoices.
3. Follow up on invoice exceptions as required.
4. Monitor and track performance against KPIs.
5. Assist with review and processing of invoices with holdbacks and withholding tax.
6. Support management with inquiries and issue resolution related to invoices and payments.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of direct AP processing experience in the oil and gas industry.
2. Solid experience with SAP.
3. Working knowledge of Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) preferred.
4. Basic accounting knowledge, including withholding tax, taxes, and holdbacks.
5. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data entry accuracy.

Compensation and Benefits:

1. One-year contract with a possibility of extension.
2. Pay rate: $30 hourly.
