Responsibilities

  • Providing unparalleled customer service excellence
  • Use ladders or bucket trucks to access aerial locations
  • Accessing Fiber Optic Terminals to connect cables
  • Adhering to existing practices and standards to ensure consistent quality
  • Operate equipment and vehicle in a safe manner
  • Ensure vehicle and test equipment are maintained in excellent working condition
  • Trouble shoot technical issues swiftly and accurately
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Work in enclosed spaces and aloft
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
  • Enhancing Organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment
  • Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL

  • Normal color vision to work with color-coded wiring

Working Conditions

  • Physically demanding workload
  • Work location: work in locations that preclude the ability to return home
  • Work hours: various shifts as assigned (morning, evening, weekend, and statutory holidays)
  • Travel may be required.
